Description

The transmitter consists of two parts: detection and transmission. The detection part comprises a probe, protective sleeve, and sensor; the transmission part consists of an oscillator, demodulator, amplifier, voltage-to-current converter, indicator, and housing. The oscillator generates a radio frequency voltage, which is applied to a bridge circuit composed of an inductor and a capacitor.  The capacitor is used to compensate for the distributed capacitance of the coaxial cable. This capacitance is formed between the sensor, the measured material, and the container. In the initial state, the variable capacitor is adjusted to balance the bridge, so the voltage transmitted to the demodulator is zero. When the liquid level in the container changes and rises, the capacitance increases, and the bridge becomes unbalanced. At this time, the voltage transmitted to the demodulator will not be zero and is proportional to the bridge imbalance. The signal change caused by the liquid level change is processed by the demodulator and amplifier, and converted into a 4-20mA DC current that is linearly proportional to the measured liquid level. This signal is then transmitted to the control room for centralized control and recording, enabling automatic control of the process.
It can be widely used for continuous measurement of liquid and material levels in various industrial fields such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, power, food, and paper manufacturing.
